Quarry Park hosted the second event in the Midlands One Day Series (MODS) and attracted 40 players on a bright but chilly Saturday at the end of February. A few years ago a field of 40 would have been considered quite large for a national tour event, so it goes to show how fast the sport is expanding, especially as it came just a week after a sell-out national tour event. The MODS tour visits established venues and some temporary ones, where we hope to establish courses in the future. For more details visit www.discgolfuk.com
