QP Open

The 2021 QP Open will be 12-13th June

18th Quarry Park Open Results
What a great weekend of disc golf! We had 59 players taking part, including all the top players on the BDGA Tour, right through to some with only a few months experience. Conditions were perfect: dry and bright but with enough wind to make things really challenging on the tough "Black" course layout.
In the Open division, there was a great deal at stake as this was also the penultimate event in the closely contested British Tour. QP's Neil Webber made the best start and after 2 rounds he lead by 1 shot from Derek Robins and Jester Wilson, with Dan Ryan 2 shots further back.

The 34th British Open Championship in disc golf was won by Dan Ryan, originally from California, but now based in London. Dan started the day 4 shots behind local course pro Derek Robins, but gained 3 shots in the 3rd round on Sunday morning.

The 2012 British Open is underway, and after 2 rounds, course pro Derek Robins is leading the Open division by 4 shots from Croydon's Dan Ryan. In the Amateur division Leamington's Mark Davis is in the lead. The course is reserved for tournament play until the awards are over at around 4pm, but spectators are welcome to watch the finals which we expect to start between 1pm and 1:30pm, and should complete soon after 3pm. You can track results at http://www.pdga.com/tournament_results/79396

From May 1st we will be open on weekday evenings from 18:00 until sunset, which is currently around 20:30, but will be 21:00 by the middle of the month. That's ample time to get a round in, so get your friends or colleagues together and enjoy some weekday disc golf at Quarry Park

NB Course reserved for British Open on 26/27 May

After more than 2 years in production, a flying disc documentary film called "The Invisible String" will have it's world premiere in Berlin on Sunday. You can see the trailer for it on youtube, and if you look at the closing credits you will see the Quarry Park logo, we are proud to support this project.

Welcome

Welcome to the home page for the Quarry Park Disc Golf Course. Situated on Old Milverton Lane on the edge of Leamington Spa, this is a unique facility in Britain, in that the land was purchased and landscaped specifically for disc golf.

Disc Golf is a great sport or activity for all ages and abilities, and QP has been meticulously designed to be fair to beginners and challenging to pros. We welcome everyone from family groups and tourists looking for a fun frisbee activity, to professional level players from abroad. Disc golf is great for group outings too - we have had stag parties, sports clubs, scout groups, office outings, church groups, round table etc.....

What is Disc Golf?

Disc golf is a lot of fun and is similar in concept to traditional ball golf. The object is to get a frisbee disc into a basket in as few shots as possible.
